COURSE INFORMATION: Apply First Aid Senior (HLTFA301C) – The nationally recognised course code is HLTFA301C Apply first aid, but it is more commonly known as Level 2 or Senior first aid. There are no pre-requisites for this course, which means that you dont need Level 1 first aid or any other course qualification to enrol.

Perform CPR HLTCPR201B is also a component of this course and is trained using all 3 sizes of manikins (adult, child, infant) as per 2011 ARC guidelines. Once you enrol you will receive all booking details and a tax receipt to your designated email address within a few minutes.
COURSE DURATION: The Apply First Aid course is a 5 hour practical class which you are required to book into and pay for before attending. Pre-course theory must also be completed as part of this course.

PRE-COURSE ONLINE THEORY: The course is made up of between 2 to 6 hours of on-line home-study. It is a requirement that theory is completed prior to attending the class so you are familiar with content, and can ask any questions you may have in relation to the theory content. The theory component is made up of 10 internet based modules containing different topics, all questions being multiple choice.
You also have an option of downloading a free PDF workbook from the website instead of completing the internet theory. Answer booklets must be handed to your trainer on the day of the class. Once you enrol into a class we email you all the information regarding the theory component of the course.
Late Theory Fee: There is a $22 late theory fee for anyone who has not completed theory prior to class and requires their certificate to be posted.

RENEWAL: We recommend that you renew this qualification every three (3) years from the date of issue, however the Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that you update the CPR component of the course annually.
